About Department
Naturopathy is a holistic, drug-free, and evidence-based system of medicine that uses natural therapies to promote healing. It is based on the principles of vitality, toxin elimination, the body’s natural healing ability, and the importance of healthy living. The human body, made up of five essential elements (Panchamahabhutas)—earth, water, air, fire, and ether—functions best when these elements are balanced. Naturopathy focuses on restoring this balance to treat diseases using these natural elements.
The primary cause of illness is often linked to unnatural lifestyles or disregarding nature's laws. To regain health, individuals must align with these natural principles and support the body's self-healing processes through natural methods.
This program prepares students to become skilled professionals in Naturopathy and Yoga Medicine through a comprehensive 5½-year curriculum. The training combines clinical naturopathic medicine, research, and holistic health principles, emphasizing the connection between body, mind, and spirit. Students gain expertise in health promotion, disease prevention, and various natural therapies, including hydrotherapy, clay therapy, massage, aromatherapy, chromotherapy, magnetotherapy, chiropractic techniques, and fasting.
